Рассматриваются механизмы гомеостаза железа и патогенез железодефицитных состояний и железодефицитной анемии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Iron is an essential trace element, because it is required for adequate erythropoietic function, oxidative metabolism, and cellular immune responses.
