REFERENCE LIST

The reference list should be designed in accordance with the rules for the design of prefinal reference lists developed in accordance with the recommendations of PubMed and Scopus (U.S. National Information Standards Organization NISO Z39.29 2005 [R2010]). Correct description of the sources used in the reference lists is a guarantee that the cited publication will be taken into account when evaluating the publication indicators of its authors and organizations where they work.

In the bibliography (list of references), each source should be placed on a new line under a sequential number. In the list all works are listed in the order of citation, not in alphabetical order. In the text of the article references to sources are given in square brackets in Arabic numerals.

In the bibliographic description of each source it is inadmissible to abbreviate the title of the article. The names of English-language journals should be given in accordance with the PubMed database title catalog. If the journal is not indexed in PubMed, it is necessary to indicate its full name. The names of domestic journals should not be abbreviated.

In the list of cited literature it is recommended to include works published within the last 5 years.

Not allowed:

references to unpublished works, theses, dissertations, abstracts and materials published in various collections of conferences, congresses, etc. References to abstracts of conferences, congresses, conventions, laws, etc. can be included in the list of references only if they are available and found by search engines on the Internet - the URL and date of reference are indicated.

It is strongly discouraged to use references to works that are many years old (except for rare highly informative works).

Formatting of the bibliography of both Russian and foreign sources should be based on the Vancouver style in the AMA version (AMA style, http://www.amamanualofstyle.com).

If the number of authors does not exceed 6, all authors are indicated in the bibliographic description. If the number of authors is more than 6, the first six authors should be indicated and "et al. (et al.)".

References to foreign sources must include the electronic posting address (PMID) and digital object identifier (DOI), which are defined on the websites (http://www.ncbi.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=PubMed) и (http://www.crossref.org/guestquery/) respectively. Please note the only correct formatting of the DOI reference: Example. https://doi.org/10.5468/ogs.2016.59.1.1

There is no dot after the DOI and URL (http)!

All sources (name of monograph, collection, journal) in the reference list are italicized.

According to the new rules, taking into account the requirements of such international citation systems as Web of Science and Scopus, in addition to the Russian-language list of sources, it is necessary to form a similar list in Latin - References (Romanesque sources remain unchanged, Cyrillic sources are transliterated (transliteration - transfer of the Russian word by Latin alphabet letters) in BGN/PCGN (United States Boardon Geographic Names / Permanent Committee on Geographical Names for British Official Use) standard, if there is no original translation). For transliteration of the text according to the BGN standard, you can use the following link https://translit.ru/ru/bgn/

Before placing the text in the transliteration workspace, make sure that you have chosen the BGN standard. At the very end of the bibliographic description, an indication of the original language of the publication (In Russ.) is placed in parentheses.

Rules for preparation of bibliographic descriptions (References) of Russian-language sources for uploading to international citation indices

Surnames and initials of authors are transliterated in BGN standard.

The title of the article (monograph) in English should be given as it is given in the original publication. In the absence of the original translation, the title of the monograph (article) is transliterated.

The name of Russian-language journals is transliterated if no original translation is available.

The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the submitted bibliographic data, up to and including denial of the right to publish.

The presence of a conflict of interest in one or more authors is not a reason for refusal to publish an article. However, the concealment of potential and apparent conflicts of interest on the part of the authors, revealed by the editorial board, may become a reason for refusal to review and publish the manuscript. It is convenient to declare a conflict of interest in a special electronic form developed by ICMJE www.icmje.org/conflictofinterest/

Supporting documents. When submitting a manuscript to the Editorial Board of the Journal, it is necessary to additionally upload files containing scanned images of completed and certified accompanying documents (in *.pdf format). In addition, the information that the manuscript is not under review in another edition, has not been previously published and contains a full disclosure of the conflict of interest is also given here (if there is no conflict of interest, it is written "No conflict of interest declared"). If the manuscript is part of the dissertation work, the estimated timeframe for defense should be indicated.

Procedure for withdrawal (retraction) of an article from publication

  1. This document has been prepared on the basis of the Association of Scientific Editors and Publishers (ASEP) "Rules for Revocation (Retraction) of an Article from Publication" and describes the procedure for removing violations in scientific materials published by the Publishing House.
  2. Retraction of text from publication (retraction) is a mechanism for correcting published scientific information and alerting readers that a publication contains serious flaws, erroneous data that cannot be trusted, cases of duplicate publications (where authors present the same data in multiple publications), plagiarism, and concealment of conflicts of interest that may have influenced the interpretation of data or recommendations for their use.
  3. Grounds for withdrawal of the article: detection of plagiarism in the publication, duplication of the article in several editions, detection of falsifications or fabrications in the work (e.g., falsification of experimental data), detection of serious errors in the work (e.g., incorrect interpretation of results), which casts doubt on its scientific value, incorrect composition of the authors (there is no one who is worthy to be an author; persons who do not meet the criteria of authorship are included), hidden conflict of interest (and other violations of publication ethics), republication of the article.
  4. The publishing house carries out retraction upon an official request of the author / team of authors of the article, who explained the reason for their decision, as well as by decision of the editorial board of the journal on the basis of its own expertise or information received by the editorial board.
  5. The Editorial Board obligatorily informs the author (lead author in case of collective authorship) about the retraction of the article and substantiates its reasons. If the author/author collective ignores the messages, the Editorial Board informs the ANRI Council on Ethics of Scientific Publications.
  6. The article and the description of the article remain on the Internet site of the journal as part of the corresponding issue, but the electronic version of the text is labeled RETRACTED and the date of retraction, the same note is placed with the article in the table of contents of the issue. In the commentary to the article the reason for the retraction is indicated (in case of plagiarism detection - with an indication of the sources of borrowing). There is no mechanical deletion of the article from the electronic version of the journal and from the archive; the texts of the retracted articles remain where they were before, with a corresponding mark.
  7. Information about retracted articles is transferred to the ANRI Council on Ethics of Scientific Publications (for entering information into the unified database of retracted articles) and to the NEB (elibrary.ru) (information about the article and the full text remain on elibrary.ru, but are supplemented with information about retraction. Retracted articles and references from them are excluded from RSCI and do not participate in the calculation of indicators).
  8. Payment for the associated costs of publishing retragged articles is non-refundable.
